“A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it, it just blooms.”

One thing I’ve been taught from an early age is to stay on your own path.

It’s the best piece of advice I can give.

Once you let go, it’s total freedom to be who you want to be.

It’s ok to glance over and admire or be inspired by others paths, learn from others, but stay on your own or you’ll lose direction and it will slow down your journey.

After all we’re all unique. Don’t worry if you’re doing things different to the others, it doesn’t mean you’re doing things wrong!

Yes, competition is great, a challenge, but like any race it has a duration and a result.

Imagine if it was a constant race on your path you’d be exhausted everyday!

If comparing is the way you evaluate your worth, then, you will always be losing and never be truly happy.

“Measuring sticks are good for one thing: to help you remember how far you have come and how amazing you have always been.”

So, please be easy on yourself today, especially these days when we could all do with support.

Build each other up, give credit where it’s due and be kind.

Be content with what you already have.

When you decide YOU are the only one you need to please, it’s so empowering and motivating.

It frees you from all the fears you have, that emotional clutter, does wonders for your emotional and physical health and allows you to finally just enjoy yourself.

Keep focused on your path and above all have fun there.

We all hit the same destination in the end.
