RadioStar gives individuals a platform to showcase their radio talent on a global level.

Celebrating  8 YEARS since 2018
RadioStar is a non-profit international radio talent search, run annually by Tracey Lee and Nails Mahoney, who are passionate about nurturing talent and creativity. 🎤⭐️

⭐️ RadioStar isn’t about winning or competing with your fellow contestants.
⭐️ It’s about individual growth and challenges you face.
⭐️ It’s about teamwork, friendship, bonding and connecting with each other and those in the radio industry.
⭐️ It’s about learning new skills, learning about you, pushing you out of your comfort zone.
⭐️ It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to receive the kind of feedback you get from judges.
⭐️ RadioStar is a journey.
⭐️ We will NEVER CHARGE people to ENTER.
⭐️ We believe all radio talent deserves a chance, no matter who you are, what you are or where you are.

This Year’s Focus
We’ve focused on the art of music radio presentation — from intros and storytelling to delivery and personality.

Overview
Our contestants in RadioStar 2025 come from all over the world.
For the first time in RadioStar history, there will be NO eliminations (except for below).
There are 5 stages, with a new lineup of judges for each — including radio pros and past contestants.
Contestants have the opportunity to complete all 5 challenges  and remain in the contest til the end!

However if a contestant does not meet a challenge deadline they will be disqualified from that particular Stage. Contestants who do not complete Challenge 1 and do not give a reason or response will be eliminated.

In each stage, there is a new challenge , the contestant with the highest score of that challenge will be named Top Scorer.

At the final stage youtube show, we’ll celebrate everyone including all our judges and acknowledge those contestants who showed the most consistent progress.
The contestant with the highest overall score will be crowned RadioStar 2025.

Your Role
Listen with fresh ears.
Read the challenge brief carefully.
Score fairly and consider each contestant’s unique journey — different levels of experience, backgrounds, countries, ages.

YOUR FEEDBACK is crucial in helping them prepare for their next Challenge and if a contestant fails any aspect of the challenge, don’t be afraid to gently pull them up on it. This is a learning process for them.
